Permata Library Bus Visits Nagrak Flat

Jakarta Library and Archive Agency together with Housing and Residential Agency's Flat Management Unit Area III, held bus library mobile (Permata) at Nagrak Flat, North Jakarta.

It is open from 10 AM to 3 PM

Jakarta Library and Archive Agency's Deposit and Library Development Division Head, Eka Nuretika Putra, said the mobile library services is an effort to increase literacy in the community. The program is held since Tuesday (5/28) and up to three months ahead.

"It is open from 10 AM to 3 PM," she said, Friday (5/31).

Her side also several services such as on the spot reading, watch educational shows, story telling, and music performance.

According to Eka, this activity will be a barometer and model to be held in other locations. The plan is that the service will be inaugurated by the Head of Jakarta Dispusip in the near future.

"We'll optimize the service to other public areas," she added.

Meanwhile, Jakarta PRKP Agency's UPRS Area II Service Management Unit Head, Faisal Rahman, appreciated the program of mobile library. Tens of Nagrak flat children flock the service.

"Residents are very enthusiastic about welcoming the service. The activities are always filled with local children," he admitted.
